Our Story
We’re Nick and Amy, a husband-and-wife team navigating marriage together for over 22 years. Like many newlyweds, we started with dreams of endless romance, passion, and deep connection. But we quickly learned that building an intimate, thriving marriage takes more than just love – it takes effort, communication, and understanding each other’s unique backgrounds and needs.
Amy grew up watching her parents share a loving and affectionate marriage, which shaped her vision of a passionate lifelong relationship. On the other hand, Nick’s upbringing was quite different, shaped by divorced parents who didn’t show much affection. This contrast led to challenges early in our marriage, especially when it came to intimacy and communication.
In those first years, we loved each other deeply but struggled to openly share our thoughts, needs, and desires in the bedroom. Amy hesitated to express her preferences, afraid of hurting Nick’s feelings, while Nick didn’t realize how much open communication could improve our connection.
The Turning Point
Years into our marriage, Amy decided to try something new. She surprised Nick with a unique gift – a bedroom game she had found online. It was fun, exciting, and even a little spicy. More importantly, it opened the door to conversations about intimacy that we hadn’t had before. We started talking about what we wanted, what we liked, and how we could make our intimate life even better.
While the game was a great starting point, it wasn’t perfect – some of the language and ideas didn’t align with our values. But it sparked something in us: the realization that so many couples, like us, needed resources to strengthen their emotional and physical connection in ways that felt comfortable and meaningful.
Launching the Ultimate Intimacy App
In September 2017, we launched the Ultimate Intimacy App with one goal in mind: to help couples strengthen their marriages by improving all areas of intimacy. The app included fun bedroom games, intimate chat features, quizzes, resources, and tools to help couples connect on a deeper level.
Since its launch, the app has transformed countless marriages. Couples tell us how much it has helped them open up, communicate, and reignite their passion. With almost a million downloads and a 4.8-star rating in the App Store, we’ve been humbled and thrilled to see the difference it’s making in so many married couples’ lives!
Introducing the U&I App
Seeing how many couples have benefitted from Ultimate Intimacy, we were inspired by the feedback and needs of couples everywhere, to make another app, the U&I App. This new app builds on the foundation of the Ultimate Intimacy App but offers some new and exciting and practical features to strengthen your marriage.
